Harsco acquires Chilean scaffolder

Privately owned MyATH, based in Santiago, is one of Chile's top–three formwork/scaffold rental companies with annual revenues of US$8 million. Rental of HÜnnebeck formwork – HÜnnebeck is owned by Harsco – dominate its sales, and it has been a HÜnnebeck dealer for the past ten years.

Harsco president, chief financial officer and treasurer, Salvatore Fazzolari, said; “This well established business gives us a solid access foundation in Latin America, a key region that we have identified for future growth as we expand Harsco's global footprint and increase our focus on strong merging markets and economies.”

Harsco, whose Access Services division includes both Patent and SGB Group, said Chile's construction market could grow at 4 to 7% annually to the end of this decade
